Early in 2010, LA-based band Shaimus approached me and asked if I would be willing to animate a music video for them. I was honored to do so. This was an incredible learning experience. Shaimus, thanks for the opportunity! I’ll be billing you soon.
Keeping on my Shaimus theme from last week, here’s a little ditty I made for them at the start of 2010. The band wanted to give their fans a chance to shine, so Shaimus offered a free song to anyone who submitted a fan photo or video. I had just gotten a video camera, so I had to do something.
Here is the final Shaimus’ Fan Tribute, so be sure to check it out.
Here is my entry:

A few weeks ago I went out to LA to hang out with my cousins, who just so happen to be in the band Shaimus. You may have heard of them, as they were featured in such games as Guitar Hero and Rock Band 2. With Shaimus I drank a bunch, barely slept, and ate terribly. Suffice it to say, it was a great vacation.
While in LA I joined Shaimus on two gigs. I took the opportunity to snap a gang of photos. Here are a select few:
You can check out the rest of the Shaimus photos on Flickr. In time, more will be added!
